Vice Chairman National Technology Council Prof. Mukhtar Felicitates Newly Incoming Chairman

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) appointed Lieutenant General (Retired) Moazzam Ejaz as the new Chairperson of the National Technology Council (NTC), commencing his four-year term on July 29, 2024. Lt. General (Retired) Ejaz, formerly of the Army Corps of Engineers, brings a wealth of experience to the NTC. His illustrious career includes serving as the Engineer-in-Chief and holding key roles such as Quarter Master General, General Officer Commanding, and Director General of the Housing Directorate at Army Headquarters. His leadership was instrumental in numerous projects within the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), further establishing his reputation within the military.


Moreover, his academic leadership as the Rector of the National University of Technology (NUTECH) underscores his commitment to advancing technical education and innovation.

 

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chairman of the National Technology Council, felicitated the newly incoming Chairman. In his felicitation letter, he wrote:
