Carpentry directly connects to the Prophets' lives in Islamic tradition. Prophet Nuh (Noah, peace be upon him) is famously associated with carpentry as he built the Ark by the command of Allah. The Qur'an references this in Surah Hud (11:37):
"And construct the ship under Our observation and Our inspiration..."
