A high-level academic delegation from Bangladesh, led by Prof. Dr. Mamun Ahmed, visited Pakistan as part of a week-long academic engagement program to strengthen bilateral cooperation in higher education, research, and cultural exchange. During the visit, the delegation held important meetings with Ms. Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, to discuss new opportunities for academic collaboration, institutional partnerships, joint research initiatives, and enhanced people-to-people connectivity between the two countries.
The delegation also visited iconic national landmarks, including Faisal Mosque and Lok Virsa Museum, where members appreciated Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, traditional arts, and remarkable Islamic architecture. In a significant development, a Letter of Intent was signed between the National University of Modern Languages with the University of Rajshahi to promote academic exchange and collaborative research. The program reflects a shared commitment by both nations to deepen educational ties, expand knowledge exchange, and foster long-term institutional cooperation.
