In line with the vision of its founding Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, the National Skills University (NSU) Islamabad continued to demonstrate its commitment to employee development by successfully facilitating specialized training for its staff.

Mr. Umair Bilal, Assistant Treasurer at NSU, was among the 30 other senior officials across the countr who completed a series of professional courses offered by the Pakistan Planning and Management Institute (PPMI), under the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives. The training, held in the first quarter of 2025–26, covered Budgeting and financial Management in the Public Sector (Sept. 1–3), Public Procurement Policies and rules (Sept. 9–12), and Preparation of PC-I & PC-III (Sept. 17–19).

The programs enhanced participants’ knowledge and skills in financial management, procurement governance, and project planning, which are recognized as essential for efficient public sector operations and have already started to show positive impact on NSU's institutional growth.

Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Bilal thanked Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mukhtar for his vision and encouragement, noting that such initiatives strengthened the professional capacity of NSU employees and reaffirmed the university’s dedication to lifelong learning.

Since its establishment, NSU Islamabad has consistently prioritized capacity building not only for its students but also for its faculty and administrative staff. By investing in continuous development, the university has reinforced its mission of fostering innovation, accountability, and excellence in higher education.
