The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has introduced a pioneering strategy centered on character-building education and life skills development for junior classes (Grades 1-5). This initiative marks a departure from traditional academic-centric approaches, prioritizing the holistic development of young minds by cultivating essential values and skills.

This innovative strategy, which emphasizes alleviating academic pressure and fostering a well-rounded educational experience, is set to transform classrooms nationwide. Following the summer break, the initiative will permeate all government schools through a meticulously planned phased implementation, ensuring widespread accessibility and a positive impact on our young ones' lives.

According to the Secretary MoFE&PT, Mr. Mohyuddin A Wani, this program seeks to impart crucial values such as honesty, integrity, cleanliness, respect for the rule of law, care and compassion, tolerance, and love and empathy for one another. By integrating these principles into the education fabric, the Ministry aims to equip students with the ethical foundation and interpersonal skills necessary to navigate an increasingly complex world with empathy and resilience.
